Boracay and Tablas - the Perfect Combination?
Yes it is; anything you like - or need - is just 30 minutes away!
Boracay has about 1 million tourist visit every year because Boracay 'has it
all';
- a pure white powdery sand beach and emerald blue clear ocean water
- resorts and hotels that fit anyone's budget
- watersports like scuba diving, kite-boarding
- nightlife, karaoke bars, restaurants; a “cool” place to be and to be seen
(especially by the young).
Tablas (30 minutes by boat from Boracay or 30 minutes by airplain from Manila) is kindof the opposite of Boracay; undiscovered and sleepy, they have the same beautiful beaches but without the crowds. This is where you go for a quiet, idyllic retirement spot, tranquility and privacy, caves, waterfalls, hot springs, a walk in the cool mountains, unspoiled scuba dive sites and many fish sanctuaries for snorkeling too.
While some people fall in love with the Boracay condotels and other real
estate that we show them, others ask us to bring them to the (definitely
cheaper!) options offered on Tablas Island.
Tablas is slowly catching up which is proven by a 120 hectare ECO
agricultural investment, an organic farm development owned- and managed by a
group of entrepreneurs from different countries who (together with the local
government) show that there are other investment opportunities in the
Philippines aside from the (over-promoted) condotel investment. Your return
on investment will be higher also due to the 'added value crops' for export,
like pili nuts.
Near this huge garden owned by 'foreigners', the Expat retirement village
‘Sunset Beach Villas’ is being built on the beach; a logical step from the
same developers to supply the occupants with their daily fresh vegetables,
fruits, bee honey, the magical Soursop (prevents diseases) etc.
And for those who prefer a cool breeze (like in Tagaytay and Baguio) a
mountain golf course project with villas will arise with a 360 degree
panoramic overlooking view.
Tablas will also be the center of the private luxury yacht cruise business;
another great 'money maker'.
The reason why many people now start thinking about living on Tablas is
because of the easy access by airplane (Boracay does not have an airport...)
and of course the huge potential as Philippine investment opportunity.
Prices of real estate are increasing as we speak; it's is a matter of
'getting in on the ground floor'. Koreans have already built beautiful new
roads around the island.
The world is changing; waiting for 'something to happen' is futile and if
you don't throw yourself into high gear, life might pass you by...
